Going on: Story Slam at Union Hall

With a library of books lining the walls of Union Hall it is no surprise that the Brooklyn bar would play host to another kind of story telling: Live Story Telling.

Tonight, 10 brave New Yorkers will tell their non-fiction stories in a competition to see who can tell their tale the best.

Snuggle in on the couches or near the bocce lanes to get a good seat tonight.

The event is part of the Moth StorySLAM. At 7:30 tonight at Union Hall, 702 Union St., (between Fifth and Sixth avenues in Park Slope) 718-638-4400. Tickets are $6. For info, visit www.themoth.org.
